Prof. Ozaki was appointed as a foreign member of Polish Academy of the Art and Science. In addition to literature, history, philosophy, physics, chemistry, and life sciences, the academy also has a division of arts. It boasts a very long history and tradition since its establishment in 1872. Marie Curie was once a member. Prof. Ozaki has engaged in academic exchanges with Poland for nearly 40 years and published nearly 100 joint papers.
