 AWARD 

On October 18 Prof. Ozaki received Karl Norris Award ICNIRS Karl Norris Awardees – ICNIRS.ORG of International Council of Near-infrared Spectroscopy (ICNIRS) at The 20th International Conference on NIR Spectroscopy.

This conference had been originally planned to be held at Beijing, but due to Covid-19 issue, it was held online. The award ceremony was held not at Beijing but at Nagoya University thanks to wonderful idea of Prof. Satoru Tsuchikawa (Nagoya University, trustee of ICNIRS). The medal was handed over to Prof. Ozaki by Prof. Tsuchikawa. After the award ceremony Prof. Ozaki had an award lecture titled “Near-infrared Spectroscopy—What a wonderful world”
